The United Way of Northern British Columbia is a catalyst for action by organizations and individuals devoted to strengthening our communities and region.
United Way is a leader in bringing together the resources needed to improve lives and strengthen communities. We invest in preventive social services throughout 40 communities, from Quesnel to Fort Nelson and all the way east to west. Together, with a network of community partners, we’re building healthy, caring and inclusive communities.
The United Way Community Campaign is an annual event in which people join together to raise awareness and funds for United Way to invest in their communities.
Hundreds of volunteers, and thousands of donors in 250+ organizations across our region - business, labour, the private and public sector, partners and organizations both large and small - join us to strengthen the region.
In 2008, the United Way campaign raised more than $800,000 across northern BC. We are committed to continuing to change lives in your community.
United Way relies on the generosity of donors to help transform lives and build a strong foundation for our community. Your investment will give people the support they need to reach their potential. More than ever before, United Way needs leaders to step forward to help create lasting change right where we live. With your help, we are creating a better future for more children, families and seniors throughout northern British Columbia.
Please join us. We believe in our communities.
